Baking Classes at the Bethany House

This year, in addition to my usual Zoom programs and group demonstrations, I started offering one on one and small group classes at the Bethany House, our monastery's guest facility. You can learn more HERE. Recently I gave baking lessons to the children of one of my former students: scones for her son and pizza for her daughter. It was their Christmas present, and we had a grand time! (Photos used with parents' permission)
I also have classes in basic breads and braids, dinner rolls, and (once it warms up) an intro class for people interested in backyard pizza ovens. I give classes to children, adults, or families (up to six participants) and out of towners can arrange to stay overnight in the guest house. Here the link again: click HERE.
One last thing: I performed the marriage ceremony for the parents of these lovely children, and one of the last things we did before the wedding was to make pizza together in the monastery kitchen! Funny how things come full circle.
